Prayvine takes email deliverability very seriously. After all, every prayer request message that ends up in a spam folder is a lost opportunity for prayer and building deeper relationships with your ministry partners.
As a result, we've implemented many engineering best practices to maintain an excellent reputation with email service providers (e.g. Gmail, Outlook). While most of these are "under the hood", there are a few email deliverability best practices that may affect your use of Prayvine:
- While Prayvine don't place any limits on how many prayer partners you can add to your prayer team, we require very large prayer teams to undergo a short deliverability review process. During this review process, Prayvine uses ZeroBounce, a secure third-part email verification provider, to identify and remove invalid or problematic email addresses from your prayer team. Prayvine will also communicate with you to understand when/how you collected the email addresses and what type of opt-in process was used. This review process typically takes less than 1-2 business days.
This review process affects only the largest 2% of all prayer teams on Prayvine. If this applies to you, please know that we are extremely grateful for your patience and help. Together, we can ensure that only valid, opted-in email addresses receive your prayer requests. This results in better email deliverability for every mission worker using Prayvine. - Prayvine automatically disables sending prayer requests to invalid email addresses. You will receive an email notification whenever Prayvine receives a notice from an email provider that an email address is no longer valid.
